Many older plays almost seem to beg for revivals. That’s why we see so many productions of “Our Town” or “You Can’t Take it With You” — the plays are solid, and hold up, even though they were written when theatergoers were a different sort. After attending the play, which we enjoyed, we felt your review was unfair-especially your final comment "..advised to give this one a pass." This probably kept many people from attending. We thought the play was delightful, not "...stilted and painful to watch".
