Saratoga County sheriff's investigators are looking for the man who robbed the Dunkin' Donuts shop on Crescent Road near Northway Exit 8 at gunpoint on Tuesday night.

— Police say one man might have been responsible for a pair of armed holdup attempts Tuesday at Clifton Park eateries.

The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an armed robbery that occurred about 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Dunkin' Donuts Shop on Crescent Road just off Northway Exit 8. Investigators said a lone man walked into the shop, displayed a handgun and demanded money from a cash register.

About 15 minutes earlier, an attempted armed robbery was reported at the Friendly’s Restaurant on Route 146. State police are investigating that incident.

The suspect in both incidents is described as a white man in his 20s or early 30s, approximately 5 feet, 11 inches tall with a thin build and a long, thin face. The suspect was wearing a light gray, zip-up, hooded sweatshirt with a design or lettering on the front and dark blue designer jeans with multiple horizontal rips down the front of both legs.

Anyone who can provide further information or assist in identifying the suspect is asked to call the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office at 885-6761.
