Schenectady police investigate gunpoint robbery at downtown restaurant

A masked gunman robbed employees at Tara Kitchen downtown Saturday night as they closed up for the night, police said. The incident happened around 9:15 p.m. at the 431 Liberty St. restaurant. It had stopped seating customers at 8 and no patrons are believed to have still been there when the gunman came in, police spokesman Lt. Eric Clifford said. Why wasn't this in Sunday's paper when an armed robber is on the loose half a block from City Hall? More political correctness before public safety.

guys downtown is statistically safe as stated in the article about the father being beat down while his daughter was robbed at the movies , just a few robberies murders thefts and assaults
