Guilderland man charged with arson

A Guilderland man has been arrested in connection with a Sept. 30 fire at an abandoned building in town.

Matthew C. Woelfersheim, 37, of 1105 Siver Road, was charged with third-degree arson, a class C felony, according to a news release issued today. Guilderland police allege he set fire to a building at 3400-10 Carman Road, across from Greulich’s Market. The fire destroyed the building.
