Mont Pleasant stabbing sends one man to hospital

A 33-year-old Albany man was stabbed this morning in Mont Pleasant, a stabbing the victim told police started as a case of mistaken identity. The victim, identified as Louis Smith, was stabbed in the arm and torso. He was taken to Albany Medical Center, where he was listed in stable condition. Smith told police he was near the intersection of Orchard Street and Third Avenue this morning at about 4:30 when he spotted a woman ...
