Skidmore plan for large solar array advances

Skidmore College's attempt to build a solar power facility moved one step closer to reality Tuesday. The Greenfield Planning Board voted to recommend to the Town Board that it approve the college's Planned Unit Development application, which includes an 8-acre solar project in the corner of a 120-acre tract of land it owns.
