Girls’ soccer: Canajoharie now 8-1

Janelle Dillenbeck and Jordyn Logan both scored three goals as Canajoharie beat Sharon Springs, 11-0, to go to 8-1-0 in the WAC.

Lauren Balfe, Ariannah Logan, Paige Shovelton, Brittany Pitenza and Morgan Gray all added a goal.

Macie Holmes scored a pair of first-half goals to help Mekeel Christian Academy down Duanesburg, 2-0.

Rebecca Dean made five saves to get the shutout for the 4-2-1 Lady Lions.

Seana Cleveland scored three times, and Carolyn Krihn had two goals and a pair of assists as Schoharie trimmed Middleburgh, 6-3. Amanda Roney had two Middleburgh goals, with Taylor Cater getting the other.

Jessi Hagadorn scored a pair of goals as Oppenheim-Ephratah/St. Johnsville blanked Fort Plain, 5-0. Tabia Salumann, Rylie Smith and Hannah Taylor got the other goals.

Tessa Hadland, Charlotte Kalkbrenner and Veronica Arceri had goals as Northville defeated Berne-Knox-Westerlo, 3-1. Delaney Martin was the BKW goal scorer,

Erica Chase had a pair of goals, and both Siramar Roman and Felicia Snyder added one as Galway beat Mayfield, 4-1. Julie Hampton scored for the Lady Panthers.

Theresa Stinson fired in three goals as Troy defeated Schenec-tady, 5-0, in the Big 10. Nikki DeGregorio was credited with 20 saves for Schenectady.

Vedas Hansel’s two goals lifted Voorheesville past Holy Names, 3-0, in the Colonial Council.

Ashley Lefebvre scored twice as league leader Waterford-Halfmoon downed New Lebanon, 3-0, in the Central Hudson Valley League.
