Gloversville man faces weapons, contempt charges
GLOVERSVILLE Police allege a city man had a switchblade knife on him when he was arrested for violating an order of protection.
CJ Benjamin, 36, of 50 Yale St., was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, a felony, and second-degree criminal contempt, according to the Gloversville Police Department.
Police say that officers on Saturday witnessed Benjamin leaving a residence he was ordered by a court to stay away from. He was jailed without bail.
