Johnstown veterinarian allegedly wrote prescriptions to get boyfriend drugs

A veterinarian practicing in Johnstown is facing felony forgery charges for allegedly getting drugs for her boyfriend by writing prescriptions for non-existent animals. The State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation in Fonda arrested Amy French, 42, of Cherry Valley on Nov. 9. The forgery charge comes after a two-month investigation.
