State board grants 5 years of raises to Scotia cops

Scotia police officers will get pay increases retroactive to 2009, following a ruling this week by the state Public Employment Relations Board. The ruling gives police 3.25 percent increases for 2009, 2010 and 2011 and 2 percent increases for 2012 and 2013.
