Football: Keeping Shoes will help Union salvage season

Union College athletic director Jim McLaughlin couldn’t help being biased as he introduced the coaches, support staff and players for both partic­ipants in the oldest collegiate football game in New York.
“This is still THE game on our schedule,” he said with emphasis at Thursday’s press conference at Nott Memorial. “This is the trophy, and we want to keep it in Schenectady.”
