Troopers: School bus caused crash in Fulton County roundabout
BROADALBIN State police said a Broadalbin-Perth school bus without any schoolchildren caused an accident with injuries in the roundabout at Route 30 and Route 29 after the driver failed to yield to another vehicle this morning.
Sandra Cirillo of Broadalbin was driving south on Route 30 in the school bus when she entered the roundabout and crossed into the path of a westbound 2002 Ford driven by Alyssa Vosburgh of Virginia. The accident, which occurred around 8:20 a.m., cause minor injuries to Cirillo and an aid working on the bus, prompting responders to send both to St. Mary's Hospital in Amsterdam.
Cirillo was ticketed for failing to yield the right-of-way, troopers said.
