Elmendorf named senior tax associate at BST
ALBANY — Branden Elmendorf has joined BST as a senior tax associate.
BST is a financial and management consulting firm headquartered in Albany.
His previous experience includes working for Syracuse- and Rochester-based firms.
Elmendorf is a graduate of Siena College and currently resides in Gloversville.
Collins a partner at Select Sotheby’s
SARATOGA SPRINGS — Dan Collins has joined Select Sotheby’s International Realty as a partner.
The company has offices in Saratoga Springs, Bolton Landing and Lake Placid.
A graduate of Siena College, Collins was employed with D.A. Collins Construction, most recently serving as vice president of business development. He has served on the Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, Leadership Saratoga Alumni Association Board and New York Construction Materials Board of Directors.
Collins was also named as a “40 Under Forty” honoree by the Albany Business Review in 2011.
Bouchey & Clarke adds three to staff
TROY — Three new hires have joined Bouchey & Clarke Benefits, a benefits broker and consulting firm in Troy and Saratoga Springs.
• Ela Sanford comes to the firm with more than 10 years of experience at Paychecks. Sanford is licensed in several states for life, accident and health insurance. As an account manager, Sanford’s primary responsibility is providing day-to-day service to clients, including, but not limited to, processing enrollment changes, researching and resolving claims questions and issues and answering coverage questions.
• Deborah Klippel joins Bouchey & Clarke Benefits with more than 26 years of health insurance expertise from CDPHP. Her primary focus as an account manager is providing day-to-day service to clients including processing enrollment, resolving claims issues and assisting with benefit questions.
• Susan Dawes joins Bouchey & Clarke with more than 25 years of accounting experience with both public and private sectors of the business community. In her role as accounting specialist, her responsibilities include providing customer support for flexible spending accounts when they have claims to be processed.
Dahl chosen for post at M&T Bank
ALBANY — M&T Bank has named Eric Dahl as Regional Community Reinvestment Act officer for the Albany and Hudson Valley region.
Dahl will work with M&T’s government and nonprofit partners in nine counties to manage M&T’s participation in community development lending, affordable mortgage products, financial literacy programs and other community involvement events.
Dahl has more than 23 years of experience working on community development projects in upstate New York. Before joining M&T, he spent 10 years with the Affordable Housing Partnership in Albany, where his most recent position was managing broker.
Dahl received a bachelor’s degree in urban and regional studies from Cornell University and is a current member of the Greater Capital Association of Realtors and the Commercial and Industrial Real Estate Board.
Rimmer joins engineering firm
ALBANY — GPI/Greenman-Pedersen, an engineering and construction services firm, has announced that N. Paul Rimmer has joined the firm as a senior structural engineer/metals quality assurance specialist in the Albany office.
Rimmer has more than 30 years of experience and is currently providing welding expertise, metals quality assurance, design, fabrication and construction support, primarily on the Tappan Zee design build project, as part of the GPI Independent Quality Assurance Team.
He manages off-site quality assurance in-plant shop inspections and is also a subject matter expert for training programs.
He resides in Guilderland with his wife, Linda, and sons Joshua and Matthew.
