Cross country: Streaks seek back-to-back titles

The Saratoga Springs High School boys’ cross country team will be seeking its second consec­utive Class A title today when the New York state championships are held at Queensbury High School. Opening ceremonies begin at 8:45 a.m., with the first race scheduled to go off at 9. The Blue Streaks, led by Jay Navin, held off Fayetteville-Manlius by a single point to win the “A” crown last season. Navin, then a junior, placed 14th overall. ...
