Do not think for a minute that gas drilling companies do not take advantage of the poor or economically depressed areas of this country. Little known loopholes in legal definition of Royalty payment rules allow many drilling companies to deduct all manners of expenses from royalty payments on leases that landowners are due. Think you might make a nice bit of steady cash for retirement by allowing drillers to use your land? Better check that fine print. Some of these people in PA are getting nothing in return for their leases.

NYS state sits above the biggest natural gas resources ever discovered. Because of Cuomo and the environmental wackos we can do nothing about it. We don't need American energy, high paying jobs and revenue that is not taken from the oppressed property owners in NYS? Don't worry the Democrats will raise your taxes again.
