The Democrats are holding their majority on the Saratoga Springs City Council for another two years on the back of a mayoral win by Joanne Yepsen. Yepsen, a four-term representative on the Saratoga County Board of Supervisors, was leading Republican Shauna Sutton, the three-term deputy mayor, by a vote of 4,120 to 3,778, according to nearly complete results at the Republican campaign headquarters at the Holiday Inn.
