Schenectady driver faces felony drug charges
SCHENECTADY A man picked up on a misdemeanor unlicensed operation charge was soon hit with felony drug counts, as police discovered crack cocaine on him while he was being booked Friday, authorities said.
Roscoe L. Carter, 34, of 1030 Cutler St., is accused of driving without a license Friday afternoon on Broadway, according to papers filed in court.
Police say they found more than half an ounce of crack cocaine while he was being booked, according to papers.
Carter faces one count of aggravated unlicensed operation, a misdemeanor, as well as two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, felonies.
