Amsterdam man charged in stabbing

Police lodged felony charges against an Amsterdam man accused of stabbing another man at a convenience store Wednesday. Michael L. Medina, 22, of 15 James St., was charged with second-degree assault, third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, resisting arrest and failure to appear, according to the Amsterdam Police Department.
