Resident accused of home break-in

Police say a city resident broke into another persons’ home. Laquita Silas, 43, of 653 Lansing St., is accused of breaking into another Lansing Street residence May 23, pushing the resident and taking items, according to papers filed in court. She faces one count each of second-degree burglary, a felony, and second-degree harassment, a violation.
