The Saratoga Springs City Council is expected to vote tonight on a proposal for a solar project at its capped Weibel Avenue landfill. If the contract is approved, SunEdison of Belmont, Calif., would build a solar park on the landfill site at no cost to taxpayers, and the city would buy credits from SunEdison for the solar power produced.
