Colin, while I respect the points you make the fact is our kids are dopes. Your union is less interested in the three "Rs" and more in money and indoctrination. Singing Obama songs in class and promoting left wing socialist agendas is not what teaching is supposed to be. Testing wouldn't be needed if your union didn't use tenure
to protect the worst of the worst put in front of our kids. Break free of your union's radical leaders and the DNC. Get back to teaching and I for one will get behind you.

Phils2008, it appears you didn't get the help for your ADHD that the public system should have provided. Otherwise you might have made it through Mr. Buyck's letter and seen he's not a teacher but a student. Or, a "dope", as you put it.

Mr. Buyck, thanks very much for your well-thought out and constructed argument. Sometimes you need not go much further than here in the comments section to find the muttering masses that otherwise aimlessly wander downtown Schenectady or Albany.
