High school lacrosse: Niskayuna beats J-D

Niskayuna’s attack unit produced eight goals and 15 points, and the Silver Warriors knocked off the state’s No. 1-ranked Class B team in Jamesville-DeWitt, 10-9, in a non-league game.

Lucas Maloney paced Nisk­ayuna’s all-Division I-bound attack with four goals, Mike D’Amario had two goals and four assists, and Luke Goldstock added two goals and three assists.

The Silver Warriors (12-0), ranked No. 2 in the state in Class B, outscored Jamesville-DeWitt (13-1) in the final quarter, 4-2.

Jordan Evans had four goals and an assist for J-D, the 2011 and 2010 state champion.

Isaac LaRue fired in four goals to help Christian Brothers Academy beat Shenectady, 15-1, in a Big 10 boys’ game.

The league-leading Brothers fired 62 shots at the Patriots goal, with James Schnepf credited with 36 saves.
