Suspicious packages force evacuation in Crosstown Plaza

The Price Rite supermarket in Crosstown Plaza was evacuated for more than an hour tonight after police received a report of suspicious packages left outside. Rotterdam police Lt. Tom Culbert said they received a call about 7:10 p.m. about more than five red packages sitting by a trash can in front of the store.
