Carbone Carpets to shut showroom, consolidate

Scotia warehouse to remain open

Carbone Carpets is closing its Freemans Bridge Road location in Glenville to consolidate all its operations at its Scotia warehouse site, which will remain open. Owner John Carbone said he has sold the building at 169 Freemans Bridge Road to Mohawk Honda, which bought the adjacent apartment building that Carbone owned as well. “They’re going to knock it down and use it for used cars,” he said.
