Schenectady man arrested in connection with Madison Avenue shooting
SCHENECTADY A Schenectady man has been arrested in connection with a shooting that took place at 5 Madison Ave. Feb. 8.
Police have charged Nasjuan S. Jones, 19, of 414 Craig St., with attempted murder, first-degree assault, second-degree criminal possession of a weapon and first-degree reckless endangerment.
He was also booked on an outstanding bench warrant from a separate incident.
According to police, Jones was booked without incident this morning in Queens.
He was arraigned this afternoon and sent to the Schenectady County Sheriff's Department in lieu of bail.
Police report that the victim remains in the hospital in unknown condition.
