New Mallozzi restaurant opening in Schenectady

SCHENECTADY — A new Mallozzi restaurant is opening downtown.
Johnny’s will open March 29 in Center City, the building across from Proctors.
It will focus on homemade, fresh pasta, serving lunch and dinner as a family-friendly, moderately priced Italian restaurant.
The name comes from the restaurant’s general manager, John Mallozzi.
Mallozzi — brother of Bobby Mallozzi, who runs Villa Italia — is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America.
