Imagine working for years in a job you love. Imagine even filling in for the boss on occasion. Imagine hoping that all those years of commitment and hard work were noticed by the County. Now imagine some little fluffy thing waltzing in with a personal interview with her patron politico, who is also her reference on the resume, and snagging that job right out from under you. Your reward: shut up or you'll lose your job. Welcome to Saratoga County Government. Even their new web site won't cover up this stink.

Circumstantial evidence notwithstanding, it seems to me it would be prudent to know what the qualifications of other candidates were. Writer may be 100% right, but would anyone want to have allegations posted in an editorial absent a thorough investigation. Or, at the least, present some evidence that the Board would not cooperate with the investigation. Maybe that is the case, but I'm not seeing that from this editorial.
