Theft and forgery result in prison for Clifton Park man

A Clifton Park man will serve two to four years in prison on theft and forgery charges. Kevin J. Sweeney Jr., 28, of 1014 Foxwood Drive, also was ordered Wednesday to pay $8,300 in restitution. He pleaded guilty in May to third-degree grand larceny and second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument, crimes police said he committed Dec. 16 in Clifton Park.
