Christine Suriano it is simple, they are democrats, they don't care because they know that they will continue to get elected in N.Y. Look at Jessie Jackson Jr. in Chicago, he was in a mental hospital under indictment for fraud and other major crimes and they still elected him. Linda Crandall-If this horrible rubber stamp Council ever votes to support the City taxpayers it will be a first. Schenectady needs to knock down hundreds of abandoned eyesores. There is no demand for additional housing because of Democratic confiscatory taxation. Lower the property tax rate across the board so the private sector will build to meet any new demand. We need checks and balances against this insane spending spree.

I hate the broad brush being painted on the City Council...Councilman Riggi questioned and is not a rubber stamp. Please make the distinction when making comments.
