Clifton Park woman accused of using another's identity to get cable TV
CLIFTON PARK A Clifton Park woman was charged today with identity theft after state police she used someone else's identity to open an account with Time Warner Cable.
Troopers said Katina N. Chiera, 40, of Moe Road, used another person’s Social Security number to open the account, then ran up a bill of more than $1,500 that is currently in collection.
Chiera was charged with second-degree identity theft, arraigned in Clifton Park Town Court and released on $200 bail. Her next court appearance is scheduled for 4 p.m. July 10.
