Gloversville man faces felony drug charge
GLOVERSVILLE A Gloversville man is facing drug charges following a traffic stop Sunday morning.
Renardo McCubbin, 28, also known as "Sha-Boogey," was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, a felony, misdemeanor DWI and unlawful possession of marijuana, according to a release from the Gloversville Police Department.
Police allege McCubbin attempted to run after being pulled over but he was caught a short time later.
Police said they found a baggie of crack cocaine in the vicinity of where McCubbin was seen tossing something during the foot chase.
McCubbin was arraigned and sent to the Fulton County Jail in lieu of $25,000 bail.
