Despite charity, gap between haves and have-nots widens

Recently I received a thank-you letter from the Regional Food bank of Northeastern New York for what was a quite modest donation. They also included some numbers: in 2012 they managed to distribute 27.7 million pounds of food throughout our region, enough to make up 23 million meals. The local grim reality does not jive which the baloney the local Democrats have been serving. Renaissance? At the food banks, foreclosure attorneys and moving van companies. If more money helped schools NYS would have seen more progress by now.
