The power of prayer at City Hall For the past 13 years, a group of citizens have been going to Schenectady City Hall for prayer. They pray for the city, its citizens and elected officials. The group meets in the City Council chamber every Thursday morning at 8 a.m. The prayer sessions last a half hour.
