The Montgomery County Business Development Center wants to know what famous actor locals feel embodies the area. “It could be Robert Downey Jr.” said Montgomery County economic development specialist Jacqueline Meola, “Because he has astounding talent, but some life challenges. Great idea Jackie.....good luck with the project. I also like the idea of bringing in someone from another area that does not know us and will be able to look at things with a clean slate :)

Kirk Douglas is Mr Amsterdam. If don't know what you are promoting you have a big problem. Start by lowering the tax burdens on Montgomery County homeowners and businesses.

As I understand it, Mr. Kirk Douglas did not have very flattering things to say about Amsterdam in his book. Many local residents therefore have taken a dislike to him. Just saying :)
