Glad you made it Judy. My advice based on my own experiences. Always assume you are at risk. Too many drivers are distracted these days with cell phones and radios. Use a bright LED red blinking red tail light, day and night. Change the batteries monthly. LED brightness is directly proportional to the battery power. Make sure the light is aimed properly at the oncoming cars. Use a mirror!

Drivers....if your lane is obstructed partially by a bicycle and another car is oncoming in the other lane, it is your responsibility to wait until the other car passes before you overtake the bicycle. You do not have the right to cross into the other lane in order to pass the bike if another car is oncoming.
