The popular Capital Region food truck Wandering Dago has gotten the boot from the Saratoga Race Course. Co-owner Andrea Loguidice said they were told Friday evening they were not welcome for the rest of the meet. Ridiculous. Everyone is so "pc" and hyper sensitive. All of the business they passed up to be at the track is a shame. Not to mention the possible business they could have drummed up by people sampling their food. It's getting so you can't do a thing in this stupid state. Why would they give them the green light only to shut them down 1 day into the meet? It's not like they didn't KNOW the food truck's name prior to opening day.

How rediculious. People really need to invest their time into something more constructive. Unbelievable!!! With everything going on in this state/country this is the petty crap we focus on? How shocking those who complain about the "daragatory" nature of the word, don't actually know the true meaning or history.

They can't cover up the name and still say there? Wow. NYRA needs to sell off to a private company. Get the state out of the horse racing business.

PC is censorship -- get real. Same PC BS re: the use of the perfectly valid word "niggardly," which means stingy & mean-spirited parsimony [etymological base Scandinavian]. Just because people are ignorant, lacking in historical knowledge & a working vocabulary doesn't mean the entire world has to stoop to their level. If our standards get any lower, we'll all be tripping over them.

This "un-named" state official needs to be named and held to account for his or her bigotry.

Calling myself by any nickname is not nasty.
If somebody else calls me that, then, if I had a thin skin, I might take umbrage.
But I don't.
Silly them.
