What a mangled paragraph near the end of the article. It seems certain that Sean Eldridge has $440,000 in campaign funds but beyond that, who knows? Did Eldridge raise $220,000 which he/she matched? Or did her/his husband, the co-founder of Facebook, raise $220,000? Or did he/she (the candidate) or him/her (the husband) provide the matching $220,000? And finally, did he/she (the candidate) or him/her (the husband) not accept any money from political groups? PUH-LEEZE (I ask again) improve the Gazette's copy editing!
