The bipolar son of a prominent Albany defense attorney remains in a New York City jail after denying charges he practiced law without a license and falsely filed legal papers while illegally representing a criminal. Terence Kindlon Jr., 42, was indicted on three felony counts of offering a false instrument for filing and two misdemeanor counts of unauthorized practice of law this week.
