Man hospitalized after Schenectady stabbing
SCHENECTADY A man was taken to Ellis Hhospital with injuries not considered serious after being stabbed earlier today near Crane and Bridge streets.
Schenectady police said officers responded to the 800 block of Bridge Street around 3:15 p.m. for a report of a man who had been stabbed. There, they found the man with a stab wound in the right shoulder area. He said he had been stabbed about two hours earlier near Crane Street, but could not provide a description of the suspect or a direction the suspect might have gone.
The victim was treated at the scene by members of the Schenectady Fire Department and taken to Ellis Hospital.
Police had no additional information as of 5 p.m.
