Accident slows traffic along Blue Barns Road in Rexford

An SUV crashed into a telephone pole on Blue Barns Road this morning, causing emergency personnel to temporarily limit traffic to one lane. (Jeffrey Haff/Gazette online editor)
REXFORD — The morning commute was made a little slower today along Blue Barns Road in Rexford after an SUV slammed into a telephone pole.
The vehicle's airbag deployed, and there were no serious injuries, according to emergency personnel on the scene. It is not known how many passengers were in the vehicle.
Traffic was limited to one lane as flagmen directed vehicles until the scene could be cleared.
