High school wrestling: Guardino tops at Corinth tournament

Split teams from Shenendehowa and Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake did well at the Corinth tournament. Both teams sent the majority of their starters to the Big 10 Invit­ational. The Plainsmen’s Kevin Guardino beat Galway’s Nico Riccio of Galway, 3-2, in the 106 championship bout to earn Most Outstanding Wrestler honors.
