WAMC/Northeast Public Radio has had to evacuate its offices and studios on Central Avenue because of an underground gas leak. The station is broadcasting network programming from the BBC and National Public Radio until authorities deem it is safe to return to the building. In the meantime, listeners can keep apprised of the situation by accessing WAMC’s website at wamc.org or Facebook page at www.facebook.com/wamcradio.
