UPDATE: Exit 5 of I-90 reopened

ALBANY — In Albany County, Exit 5 of I-90 (Everett Road) -- both east and west -- has been reopened to traffic.
It was closed earlier this morning because of "police activity" in the area. according to the state Department of Transportation.

Word on the Facebook is that there was an attempted suicide going on on the bridge.
3:32 p.m.
I saw a young man on the fence on the bridge looking like he wanted to jump as I was getting off the exit trying to get onto Central Ave. The police were there and had closed the bridge at that point and were in the process of closing I 90 below the bridge.
