Emily Gaige fired in 18 points, and the Schoharie girls’ basketball team held Sharon Springs scoreless in the opening quarter in a 42-17 Western Athletic Conference Southern Division win Wednesday night. Hannah Bowersox had 12 points for Schoharie (3-3, 6-5). Abby Spagnola scored 14 points and Erica Chase added nine as Galway (6-3, 7-5) turned back Mayfield, 45-34, in a WAC Northern Division game.
