Man arraigned in accidental shooting

A Rockland County man accused of accidentally shooting himself and his girlfriend was trying to show off his gun to a friend when the incident occurred, according to prosecutors. Juan R. Medina, 25, of Garnerville, was arraigned Thursday morning in Schenectady County Court on charges of first-degree assault, second-degree criminal possession of a weapon and first-degree reckless endangerment.
