Colonie woman murdered in New Orleans: police
A Colonie woman was murdered in New Orleans on Monday morning, police said.
Lauren Tanski, 27, had moved to New Orleans recently.
At 12:20 a.m. Monday, police found her dead from blunt force trauma inside her apartment in the 7th Ward.
Police said they were looking for a “person of interest” — her roommate’s ex-boyfriend, Henry Dolliole.
But they said he is not a suspect at this time.
The New Orleans Times-Picayune said Tanski and her roommate Samantha Placek were waitresses at the Corner Oyster House. According to the newspaper, Oyster House employees said Dolliole had threatened Placek just hours before Tanski was killed.
