Six new Schenectady police recruits to be sworn in today

SCHENECTADY — Six new Schenectady Police Department recruits will be sworn in at a ceremony at 11:30 a.m. today in the rotunda at City Hall.
The officers will enter the Zone 5 Law Enforcement Training Academy in January for six months of basic training, followed by 12 weeks of department-supervised field training.
