— A 75-year-old Gansevoort man was charged with failure to yield the right of way after a three-vehicle accident at 2:30 p.m. Thursday on Ballard Road at Northern Pines Road in Wilton.

Four people received minor injuries in the crash, police said.

Alf Flodsand of South Road entered Ballard Road from Northern Pines Road in a 2004 Honda Civic, causing a pickup truck traveling on Ballard Road to go into the wrong lane and hit a sport utility vehicle head-on, state police said.

Flodsand, who sustained head injuries, was airlifted to Albany Medical Center for precautionary reasons, said Trooper Edward Bowers. The other three people injured in the accident were taken to Saratoga Hospital and Glens Falls Hospital with complaints of pain. None of the injuries was serious, police said.
