Road work clogs Glenridge Road traffic

More delays today, then comes summer

Glenridge Road from Bruce Drive to Maple Avenue in the town of Glenville is closed till Thursday. 
The closure is to allow steel to be set for the B&M Railroad bridge over Glenridge Road seen here.
During the closure, traffic is detoured onto Maple Avenue, Alplaus Avenue, Riverview Road (Saratoga County Route 88) and Route 146.

Get ready for another morning of traffic tie-ups in the Glenville area if you usually travel to work on Glenridge Road. That road is closed again from Bruce Drive to Maple Avenue as state Department of Transportation crews install steel for the new B&M Railroad bridge over Glenridge. I really don't know what the big deal is... there are a gazillion other roads one can take! Whatever will these people do this summer when there is a proposed 3 month closure??

BTW, that website is www.511ny.org... and they still don't have anything about Glenridge Road... same as I reported yesterday.
