The right two lanes of I-90 eastbound in Albany near Exit 6 that were closed earlier this morning because of an accident have been cleared and reopened, according to the state Department of Transportation.

In Rexford, traffic was backed up for more than a mile this morning along Route 146 westbound, Blue Barns Road southbound and Grooms Road westbound. Today's closure of Glenridge Road is causing delays for the morning commute.

Glenridge Road from Bruce Drive to Maple Avenue in the town of Glenville will be closed today and Thursday.

The closure is to allow steel to be set for the B&M Railroad bridge over Glenridge Road. The work is weather-dependent.

During the closure, traffic will be detoured onto Maple Avenue, Alplaus Avenue, Riverview Road (Saratoga County Route 88) and state Route 146. All properties in the area will remain accessible to residents and emergency responders.
